Where is my mind

What I have learned from using Salvia over 1500 times

Advice on usage

1. Avoid social settings during the first 5-10 minutes
a. your biggest obstacle with salvia is fear - you want to avoid situations where you might feel the need to hide your use
b. salvia will cause you to have temporary schizophrenia and dissociative disorder - it will be hard for you to be yourself around friends and family

2. Develop a routine and inform others to not bother you during your special time
a. this starts with having a clear intent of who you are what you will and won't do
b. it is important to stress to those that will be around you to be relaxed and avoid heightened emotions during your 5-10 minutes of intensity
c. alcohol use will increase the speed and intensity of the onset - you will have a harder time maintaining a core identity ( could cause uncontrollable psychotic thoughts and behaviour )
d. i do use alchohol as part of my routine - it makes a nice shield to hide behind when around others - food and other drink will help ground you in reality ( same way it does with MJ )
e. it is a good idea to have a meal already prepared and waiting on the stove for consumption
f. it is important to treat people well - both on and off salvia
g. I have a policy to not discipline or scold anyone while under the effects of alcohol or salvia. Both create an intensity level that is uncommon and not kosher when dealing with others - this is one thing i am not 100% able to do though

3. Stay away from tv and artificial lighting ( some of it can be cool though )
a. the tv will talk to you - my guess is that salvia awakens your dreaming awareness and superimposes hallucinations onto your current reality
b. the unnatural lights and electricity, especially at night, just seem foreign, out of place and annoying
c. most sounds are annoying, including talking neighbors, screaming children and ( lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, lights ( buzzing ) airplanes, and traffic ) you will wish they didn't exist ( even squirrels and dogs walking on the ground will freak you out )

4. Keep your thoughts quiet and your mouth shut
a. easier said than done - the best way to really say this is ( your thoughts are not your own )
b. behold the moment and tell your brain to shut the f up
c. you will feel the judgement of ( mother nature, mankind, satan, heaven ... ) - just tell them to FOFF for 5 minutes but don't go verbal or you will scare anyone within earshot with your crazy ramblings
d. most people will just think you are a little drunk or weird, unless you open your mouth to spew crazy stuff ( uncontrollable foul language ) or move in bizarre ways

5. Things that are pretty cool while on Salvia
a. water sprinklers in the sunshine
b. meditating while looking at rocks
c. feeling the sun
d. feeling sweat roll down you face or body
e. watching animals eat
f. playing video games
g. playing a musical instrument
h. looking at tree bark and woodgrain
i. watching insects go about their business
j. letting the wind blow on your bare skin
k. walking barefoot on grass-tiny plants
l. self massage - not sexual ( although ... feel free )

6. Try to remember the awesomeness when the trip is over
a. the fun and crazy thing about salvia is this - it is like spinning through a kaleidoscope of different possible personalities and always landing on the isness of yourself - the ARE ARE of what makes you tick
b. you will see the life of the earth, have views of heaven and hell, think aliens are controlling everything and see everyone as a manifestation of Mr. G - but in the end you will have to step back into the NORMAL and carry-on like everyone else.
c. hopefully you will come to understand that our real power ( other than procreation ) is our ability to dream total and complete worlds that we can interact with through time and space
d. Salvia helps me "re-lick" the world, makes me more aware of my body and how much life there is right outside the door.
